Happy New Year and Reflections!

December 31st, 2007 · No Comments

The New Year celebrations are upon us and like most people I take this as a time to reflect on my accomplishments from the past year and think about what I hope to do in the next. I made a quick review of the PD layout work log and compared to this time last year in 2006 with this time in 2007 and I am around 37.5 hours behind on work log entries. However, I also looked at where I was at the FY ending for last year and it was recorded at 188 total hours. So far this year I have recorded 101 hours, so I have 81 hours to catch up to the end of year total from FY 2006/2007. And with the FY 2007/2008 ending in May I have five months to catch up with the 81 hours, or I have about 16.2 hours average per month to expected work log entries to reach the same level of production. So, if I take all my flex days from January to May which is actually 10 and add the holiday's I will be out of the office, which is 1 (Martin Luther King Day), I will have 11 full days to fit in 81 hours of work, which turns out to be about 7.36 hours per day average. That seems like a reasonable goal to reach! Oh, and the typical resolutions too will be renewed for 2008, loose more weight and eat mo betta! Happy New Year!
