- Staging area dry run with flex track and switches.
- Added cork to lead track to staging area.
- Tested track alignment with "ClearCar" and used track spacing tool.

- Painted cork roadbed grey flat latex Kilz primer coat.
- Soldered staging yard flex tracks.
- Sanded cork roadbed for lead tracks to staging yard to meet sheet cork area.
- Painted rest of cork roadbed grey and then plywood painted earth tone with interior flat latex paint.
- Cut out printed templates for remaining lower level sections.
- Re-organized tools on new workbench shelf under staging yard shelf.
- Marked lower level track from template onto plywood.
- Take Your Train To Work Day - November 9, 2006 (Actual day is Friday the 10th, but we were off for Veteran's Day)
- Model trains and beer do mix well!
